Without question, AI is the most transformative technology we’ve seen in the last few decades.  It has the power to transform traditional workflows in powerful new ways and yield discoveries that we can barely imagine today.  As we start 2025, we’re at the dawn of the AI era and we can’t wait to see what discoveries AI will bring. 

While AI will undoubtably transform every business, leveraging the power of AI requires a new type of infrastructure. The networks, computers, storage and servers of a decade ago are insufficient to meet the demands of today’s AI workloads. Quantum recognized this trend, and we’ve developed a targeted set of products unmatched by other vendors. This blog will highlight two of our key products, both of which have been recently highlighted as Leaders by analyst firms including Coldago Research. 

Coldago is an independent analyst firm covering storage and file systems.  Over the last few years, they’ve released an annual assessment in key product areas to determine which vendors stand out in a crowded market. Coldago’s Research Maps assess key customer criteria and evaluate vendors to determine which vendors stand out – these are considered Leaders. Two of Quantum’s products that are ideal for AI workloads are now positioned as Leaders. These are Quantum’s Myriad all-flash file system and Quantum’s ActiveScale object storage system.
