The Miami HEAT’s creative services team is responsible for producing dynamic, high-impact content for in-game entertainment, social media, and broadcast. But as content demands grew, the team’s legacy storage and asset management systems couldn’t keep up with the need for speed, flexibility, and collaboration across departments.

To modernize its environment, the HEAT partnered with systems integrator IMT and selected Quantum to build a scalable, high-performance workflow. The team deployed Quantum StorNext file system and QXS-Series storage as its production foundation, F-Series NVMe for ultra-fast content ingest and editing, CatDV for asset management and orchestration, and ActiveScale object storage for long-term content preservation. This new end-to-end workflow supports more than 60 creators, integrates seamlessly with NBA stats systems, and provides the flexibility to work in any format using tools like Adobe Premiere, Avid, and DaVinci Resolve.

With Quantum, the HEAT has eliminated workflow bottlenecks, increased agility, and built a content infrastructure ready for the future, powered by an end-to-end solution that spans ingest, production, management, and archive.
